Dear Mr Jackson,
Re: Planning Application: PA/2015/0387 Manor Farm, Manton
On behalf of North Lincolnshire Green Party I write to express our support for the above planning application and would urge the members of the Planning Committee to approve this development.
Climate science is sending us a stark warning, namely that CO2 emissions from humans must be brought close to zero within a few decades if there is to be any hope of averting the worst effects of potentially catastrophic climate change. In order to accomplish a transition to low-carbon living, this project and many more like it to come must be welcomed and seen as making a vital contribution to deriving all our electricity from renewable and sustainable sources as quickly as possible.
We are aware of the concerns of some local residents and would urge the council to work with the developers to mitigate these wherever practicable.
I should like to speak on this application at the Planning Committee meeting where it is to be determined.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Yours sincerely,
Martin Dwyer MA (Cantab.) MB,BS.
